Event Moderator

For many years, I have initiated, coordinated and moderated events in cooperation with diplomatic groups and other multinational entities. This has included United Nations conferences on SDG topics and International Peace Day events connected to the Austrian Parliament, among many others.

As a seasoned professional, I support organizers with all aspects of project management in the design, creation and development of events.

Given my solid background in cross-cultural communication, organizational development and journalism, I also am an engaging event Moderator/MC – experienced in conducting live interviews with high-level experts, chairing panels on a variety of topics… and everything in between.

Panel/Session Moderator

I have decades of experience in moderating conference sessions, chairing panels and leading discussion formats for events. This has included moderating multiple United Nations symposiums on interfaith dialogue, live-streamed university discussions on topics ranging from empowering youth to combating cybercrime, and digital panels on interconnecting Sustainable Development Goal topics.

‘Chatham House Rule’ events are a specialty. I support participants in discussing sensitive topics (and in dealing with conflict, if it arises) with the utmost of confidentiality.

As a Panel/Session Moderator, I easily adapt to the audience and venue, making speakers the center of attention and helping everything run smoothly.

MC for Galas and Festivities

I enjoy leading large-scale events with audiences even in the tens of thousands, such as a ‘Peace Starts with Me’ festival I co-hosted in Vienna. I spontaneously handle challenges as they arise with flexibility, professionalism, and humor.

As a former jazz singer, I am also comfortable moderating galas, conference dinners, and other elegant events. With grace and confidence, I keep the audience entertained and energized.

Having hosted many live television segments, I am at ease in front of the camera and experienced in working with film crews.

It was my great pleasure to consult the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation in relation to the Eurovision Song Contest being held in Vienna. The final broadcast reached an audience of 197 million viewers.
